CUTCO’s Legacy Cookware
This CUTCO Cookware Set is amazing. It lasts forever, is backed by the forever guarantee, is American-made, high quality, easy to clean, allows you to eat healthier, and use less energy for cooking. It will last your lifetime and the lifetimes of those you pass it down to. That’s why it’s the LEGACY SET!
The Cutco Legacy Cookware Set includes:
(3) Frying Pans
(3) Sauce Pans
(1) Dutch oven
(1) 10 QT Stock Pot
(1) Double Boiler
Each item is induction capable and has a 5-ply construction that consists of an outer and inner layer of highly polished stainless steel that encases an inner core of three layers of aluminum, one of the best heat conducting materials, for even temperature distribution. These pieces also have a flameguard, keeping handles cool to the touch.
Note: Pieces ordered after March 2010 are suitable for use on induction cook tops with the exception of the #733 Double Griddle.
With the Legacy Cookware set, you get your small, medium, and large frying pans. Those are for doing anything you would do without a lid on the stove top and, because of their metal handles, you can throw them in the oven or under the broiler.
With gently sloped sides, and aluminum core, these pans are designed to cook food evenly, which means they’re perfect for eggs, crepes and vegetables. The handles are even professional-style stainless steel, so they’ll stay cool.
A kitchen basic for every home cook. You’ll have your three saucepans, small, medium and large, where you do your family meals. These are ideal for things such as vegetables, soup, rice, macaroni, and mashed potatoes. The size you use will, of course, depend on the size of the meal. These also come with perfect fit lids that facilitate low-moisture, and low-temperature cooking which retains nutrients and enhances flavor, as well as appearance.
You’ll have your small and large skillet, both designed to prevent food from sticking or burning by distributing heat evenly. Because the 9” is the miniature version of the 11.5”, I like to refer to it as the utility pan. Its bigger sibling is great for things like chicken breast, steak, burgers, and fish, while the utility pan is perfect for preparing gravies and other sauces.
This is where you’ll be able to roast a chicken, fill it up with veggies, pour in your stock, water and juices, then cover with the high dome top, which will create a very similar environment to your oven (without the 400 degrees permeating throughout your home in the middle of summer), because it’s heated all the way around, that heat circulates throughout the pan—cooking faster with less heat.
10 QT. Stockpot
Great for large families and entertaining, this is the largest pot Cutco makes and is perfect for your largest batches of stews, chili’s, and soups. Its high sides help keep ingredients submerged during long simmering, and is also good for canning.
Griddle and Double Griddle
The griddle’s flat surface is perfect for pancakes, French toast, omelets or even grilled sandwiches, and the double griddle is great for cooking large amounts of food at once, such as eggs, bacon and hash browns, but with less clean-up. It can also be used when you go camping, just throw it over the campfire and you’ll be ready to go. Plus, it can also be used in the oven just like a cookie sheet.
For use over the 3 Qt. Sauce Pan of boiling water this is great for fondue, queso, or just heating milk without scorching. You just boil water in the bottom pan, put this inside with the water, then put your cheese, chocolate or candy inside, and it gives you an offset heat to prevent sticking.
Similar to the Double Boiler, except it has holes in the bottom that allows the steam to cook your food. For use in the 3 Qt. saucepan, all you have to do is boil water in the bottom of your pan, place the insert and add your food. It’s ideal for steaming fruits, vegetables, tamales, or anything you want steamed. Plus, it also acts as a food press so you can press your steamed fruits or vegetables through the bottom for applesauce, tomato sauce, and purees.
This one I love because it’s bowl shaped with a flat bottom, so you don’t need a stand. It’s 14.5 inches wide, 4.5 inches deep which means it’s big enough for you to be able to throw in a bunch of stir fry veggies and still be sure you’re cooking everything evenly. You can even use it on high heat, so it will sear nicely and you can just keep mixing things in.
I also love it for homemade fudge because you can stir it up around the sides and it acts like a big heated bowl, so you can get it real thin so the sugar melts, giving it that velvety texture. I also use it to make Rice Krispies treats because you can melt all your marshmallows, add everything in, stir it all around, and it’s big enough to hold it all so you don’t make a mess!
Remember, everything is easy to clean, made in the USA, backed by the Forever Guarantee, allows you to use less energy, and eat healthier without sacrificing taste!
